It is no wonder then that figs end up in wine. If you add some honey and aromatic Mediterranean herbs, you get a simple but top-notch dessert with Dalmatian signature.<!--more-->[one_third]<\/p>\n<h4>Ingredients<\/h4>\n<p>8 large fresh figs<br \/>\n250 ml white wine<br \/>\n1 teaspoon ground cinnamon<br \/>\n120 g honey<br \/>\n2 bay leaves<br \/>\n2 sprigs od rosemary<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/southernfood.about.com\/library\/info\/blconv.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Conversion Calculator for Cooking<\/a><br \/>\n[\/one_third]<br \/>\n[two_third_last]<\/p>\n<h4>Preparation<\/h4>\n<p>Arrange the washed and drained figs in a large pot. Sprinkle them with cinnamon and drizzle with honey and wine. If necessary, add a little water (50 ml). Bring liquid to a boil and add the bay leaves and rosemary. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Remove the figs from the liquid with a slotted spoon. Continue to cook the liquid until it reduces and becomes syrupy.
