When my mom \u200b\u200bwould surprise me preparing that dish, it was a public festival for me. \ud83d\ude42 Easy preparation and fullness of flavor place this dish in the &#8220;must have&#8221; category.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>[one_third]<\/p>\n<h4>Ingredients<\/h4>\n<p>1 kg (2.20 lb) chicken<br \/>\nsalt<br \/>\n50 ml (1.70 fl oz) oil<br \/>\n400 g (14 oz) onions<br \/>\n3\/4 flat tablespoon salt<br \/>\n300 ml (10.20 fl oz) water<br \/>\n200 ml (6.8 fl oz) sour cream<br \/>\n1 tablespoon cornstarch<br \/>\n1 flat tablespoon paprika<br \/>\n1 tablespoon tomato paste<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Conversion Calculator for Cooking\" href=\"http:\/\/southernfood.about.com\/library\/info\/blconv.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Conversion Calculator for Cooking<\/a><br \/>\n[\/one_third]<br \/>\n[two_third_last]<\/p>\n<h4>Preparation<\/h4>\n<p>Cut the chicken into pieces or buy pieces that are already sliced. Season with salt.<\/p>\n<p>Cut the onions into small cubes and place in a wide pan on heated oil. Add salt and simmer for about 5 minutes until the onion becomes translucent. Arrange the chicken and fry briefly on both sides. Cover with water and simmer covered for 40 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Mix together with sour cream, cornstarch, paprika and tomato paste. Add a little liquid from the chicken stew, stir well and add the chicken. Briefly boil.<br \/>\n[\/two_third_last]<\/p>\n<p><b>Serving<br \/>\n<\/b>My favorite combination is with homemade dumplings.
